Opportunities should be there for everyoneROBERT KITCHIN/STUFF The opportunity to learn to read was one I took for granted as a child, but it's one I want every child to have. It was something along the lines of "you don't realise how lucky you are to have the opportunities you have". I was young, the opportunities I had were something I guess I took for granted. But I think she was also alluding to the fact that there were other kids who wouldn't have had the opportunities it was simply assumed by us we would. A couple of things really drove me to reflect on opportunities this week.
