Newfound, 23-1 last year, opens its season at Belmont High School tonight. The Bears are led by Division III player of the year Dukette, who averaged 18 points and 18 rebounds along with six steals per game. Estremara last year was named by coaches to the second team in Division III All-State in both basketball and softball and was the leading scorer for the Raiders soccer team this fall. She led the Belmont basketball team in scoring and was the team’s top three-point shooter. They will also miss the presence of two swing players from their bench, who decided not to play this year.
