SPEEDWAY: The race for the coveted Manawatū superstock title at the Robertson Holden Speedway in Palmerston North on Saturday night will be one of the most wide open for many years. Palmerston North Panther Jordan Dare, who always appears to be on the podium or close to it, has been another of the best performing Palmerston North superstock drivers. The Business Demolition Derby is also on Saturday, where businesses around Palmerston North can bid for two cars to demolish. ❑ Christian Hermansen added to his third consecutive national mininsprint title by taking out the trifecta of national titles in the same season. Hermansen won the North Island title at Waikaraka Park, Auckland, last weekend to add to the New Zealand title at Palmerston North and the Grand Prix at Kihikihi.
