University of Waterloo professor Scott Leatherdale says it would be 'incredibly important' for Ontario to find out what affects people's decisions on adhering to COVID-19 public health guidelines. "It would be incredibly important to know what's working and how we can learn from that," said Leatherdale, whose specialty is researching the health behaviours of youth. It has developed 100 survey questions related to COVID-19, including on compliance with prevention measures. Ontario is to conduct research on people's compliance with COVID-19 public health measures, such as wearing masks to reduce the chances of spreading the novel coronavirus. King works as an epidemiologist with Public Health Sudbury and District.
