Ontario is reporting another 159 COVID-19 cases and 10 more deaths, according to its latest report released Friday morning. Ontario is reporting no new long-term-care home outbreaks, for a total of four or 0.6 per cent of LTC homes in the province. There are 144,781 confirmed cases in Ontario of the Alpha variant first detected in the United Kingdom, an increase of 19 from the previous day. There are 1,465 cases in Ontario of the Beta variant first detected in South Africa, with no new cases reported than the previous day. There are 3,150 cases of the Delta variant first detected in India, an increase of 14 from the previous day.
