OAKVILLE, Ont. — An Ontario man has been charged after a series of prank 911 calls. Halton regional police say they received six calls in January and February for emergencies that turned out to be fake. A total of 20 police officers were sent out as a result of the prank calls. A 37-year-old man is charged with six counts of providing false information and two counts of public mischief.
