Ontario baseball team storms off field during playoff game to protest ‘alleged racial slurs’

The Majors pulled their team off the field because, according to IBL commissioner John Kastner, a racial slur may have been directed at one of their players. There was no indication whether the alleged slur or slurs came from a player, fan or someone else. London pulled their team off the field. There is an IBL rule that limits the amount of time a team can leave the field before the game is forfeited. There was a lot of leeway given by the commissioner because major league rules stated that after five minutes the game is forfeited.
