PETALING JAYA: Those who need to travel interstate or inter-district for permitted economic activities do not need police approval but must have an approval letter from the International Trade and Industry Ministry (Miti) and either a letter from their employer, or their worker’s tag. “For your information, inter-district/state travel for work purposes does not require a letter from the police. “A letter from Miti and an employers' letter OR workers pass (two items) are sufficient. Miti also noted that it has informed the police and National Security Council (MKN) of the work travel criteria. Among them was inter-district and interstate travel for work purposes for permissible economic activities.
