GEORGE TOWN: Only 20 media personnel will be allowed into the courtroom daily from today to cover the hearing of the corruption trial of Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng and entrepreneur Phang Li Koon. Although the journalists were at the court compound since 7.30am yesterday, some of them were barred from entering the courtroom. The public, including members of the media, were allowed into the courtroom at around 8am after passing through a metal detector. Earlier, a crowd of about 100 people gathered outside the High Court here to wait for Lim, who arrived at 8.35am. His father, DAP veteran Lim Kit Siang, arrived several minutes later in a separate vehicle.
