CUSTOMERS who use An Post’s virtual address service to buy goods from the UK are to be hit with a new charge. The service provides customers with a virtual UK address to allow them to avail of reduced or free delivery charges that many UK retailers offer to British residents. A post office delivery address can no longer be used as the customer’s registered address, An Post said. DPD said it was closing its Parcel Wizard virtual address service. Therefore, it will be no longer viable to offer thisservice post-Brexit.”Parcel Motel suspended its UK virtual address service on December 28 due to the impact of Brexit.
