Online community hub launches for Whangaparaoa residents and visitorsMATTHEW CATTIN/FAIRFAX NZ The picturesque Whangaparaoa has a new online hub. Initiated by community group Future Whangaparaoa, the new website whangaparaoa.info is aimed at supporting local residents and businesses. Providing relevant information on services, facilities, businesses and events in the area, the website will serve as a one-stop-shop for Whangaparaoa's residents and visitors. Renee Clayton Future Whangaparaoa's John Davies says the website supports the goals of the community group. The website is the the first step in supporting community priorities identified by Future Whangaparaoa, including reducing family violence and supporting Whangaparaoa's place as a Wildlink connection.
