OpenTable was acquired by Priceline Group (which began as a search engine for hotels and airfares), and has evolved quickly. Instead, OpenTable charges monthly fees (to the restaurant) to display its own logo (that is, the OpenTable logo) on the participating restaurants home pages, linking to the OpenTable website. That alone is about two-thirds of OpenTable's revenue stream, in fact.
