If things arrive a week or two late, it's very hard to convince the consumer to eat some more onions at a later date.'' However, she said the shipping line's OC1 service would continue to skip Auckland for the foreseeable future to alleviate pressure. Maersk and other shipping lines had sent ships into Auckland to try and get some containers out, but there was a long way to go.
