Lawyers representing Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua have poured cold water on the impeachment motion before the Senate, saying it does not meet the threshold. According to Elisha Ongoya, the evidence presented by the mover of the motion is not only false, and ridiculous but also embarrassing. “Those of us who understand this motion for what it is, understand why these panel-beating manoeuvres are being tried here,” he said. In submission, Ongoya cited the claim in which Gachagua has allegedly interfered with the KTDA reforms.
