Shabana’s goalkeeper trainer Joseph Ongoro will take over as acting coach until a full-time coach is employed, the club’s vice-chairman Nyandoro Kambi announced on Sunday. Kambi spoke two days after the team’s coach former defender Vincent Nyaberi 'resigned' after the team’s 2-1 defeat against Kisumu All-Stars at Gusii Stadium on Wednesday. Mwatate is being handled by former Shabana head coach Andrew Kanuli. The Sh6 million promised by President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga is yet to hit the club accounts. President Uhuru donated a bus to the club.
