Ongoing rains claim 31 lives in Bomet


31 people have died in Bomet since the start of the heavy rains in March, County disaster management officer Stanley Mutai has said. Mutai said three of them are still missing and their search is ongoing at Nyangores and Itare rivers. Most of the deceased are said to have drowned in Nyangores, Kipsonoi and Chemosit Rivers while others in several small dams in the region.
