The OnePlus 5, which is a flagship Android phone, will be now also available in soft gold limited edition from midnight August 9 on Amazon India website. In addition to the rose gold variant, OnePlus is also introducing the slate grey variant in 128GB storage option today. At the same time, it is not golden enough to be gaudy like some budget phones that come in "gold" colour. OnePlus 5 says that "by further developing the sandblasting process, the finish of the Soft Gold OnePlus 5 is 30 per cent finer than that of previous OnePlus Soft Gold devices." But then almost all phones that come in the soft gold use the white bezels around the screen.
