Before facing one of the biggest battles of his career against Spain, Saketh Myneni decided to make a braver decision by asking his girlfriend Sri Lakshmi Anumolu to marry him. At the Davis Cup dinner in New Delhi on Wednesday, Myneni proposed to his girlfriend, a UPSC aspirant, in front of all the AITA members including Leander Paes. After Sri Lakshmi said, "Okay," AITA arranged for a cake to celebrate the special occasion in the lives of the newly engaged couple, reports Hindustan Times. Congratulating the couple, Leander Paes tweeted,Currently ranked at 119, Myneni reached the main draw of US Open after winning the qualifiers. The playoff round will take place at RK Khanna Tennis Stadium in New Delhi from September 16 to 18.
