The 39-year-old man and his 36-year-old sister were brought to the courthouse wearing police lockup garb on Wednesday (Feb 14) morning. They were taken to the magistrate's court where a seven-day remand was obtained from court registrar Nor Hapipah Abdullah. With the extension, the two will now be remanded until Feb 21. On Tuesday (Feb 13), police obtained a remand for their 60-year-old mother in connection to the case. Neighbours claimed the woman had been forced to sleep on the porch for over a month before she was found.
