Jharkhand Chief Secretary Rajbala Verma today said that on August 15 one thousand panchayats would be declared zero drop out. Reviewing School Education and Literacy here, Verma said that 1500 panchayats have already been announced zero drop out in the first phase, according to an official release. She said that Chief Minister Raghubar Das has categorically directed to fix accountability on district education officials and block level education officials. The chief secretary also called for ensuring registration of pupils passing XII class from Kasturba Gandhi Vidyala for higher education or skill portal. The Secretary, School Education and Literacy, Aradhana Patnaik, officials in the education department and district educational officials were present through video conferencing, the release said.
