Ohio police are searching for a solid-gold replica of a lunar module given to astronaut Neil Armstrong, which was stolen from a museum in his hometown. There's crime, but not a lot of it — making Friday night's break-in at the Armstrong Air and Space Museum all the more unusual and unsettling for those who call Wapakoneta home. Apollo 11's lunar module, the Eagle, is photographed from the Columbia command and service modules in lunar orbit. (Reuters)The lunar module replica, five inches tall, had been displayed on the museum's top floor, according to Wehrhahn's report in the Wapakoneta Daily News. Armstrong died in 2012 at the age of 82, but his legacy looms large in Wapakoneta, Scott said.
