Police said the attack happened about 12.50am at the Tonsai post on the Phetkasem road in Tambon Palukasamoh in Bacho district. Pol Cpl Jakkapong Maneechai, 27, died at the scene and Pol Cpl Somchoke Padluek, 27, was severely injured. Two of the bombs landed on the roof of the booth and one of them exploded. The four other bombs fell on the roof of an adjacent house and outside the fenced area. The bombs that fell outside the fenced area did not explode.
