One person was seriously injured after a Metro bus was involved in an accident in downtown Washington, authorities said. They would not say whether another vehicle was involved or whether the injured person was a passenger, a driver or a bystander. Pictures of the incident suggest that the bus ran over a curb. The crashed occurred about 9 a.m. on New York Avenue and 12th Street NW. D.C. police said they are investigating the incident.
