Detours were in place following a crash on SH1, Wellington on Wednesday morning when one person was injured. One person has serious injuries following a crash in Wellington. Traffic has eased after delays earlier on Wednesday morning for Wellington commuters. State Highway 1, south of Churton Park, reopened just after 6am, about an hour after it was closed to southbound traffic following the crash, near the southbound off-ramp. Queues stretched back to the Tawa Interchange at about 6.15am but traffic had eased just before 7am and since returned to normal.
