One person is dead and several others were rushed to hospital after a carbon monoxide leak in a Toronto home. Toronto paramedic services responded to a call on Monday evening, in the area of Bridle Path and Lawrence Avenue East. One person succumbed to their injuries and was pronounced dead in hospital. Toronto police said in a tweet that two police officers rescued trapped people from the home. The officers were also taken to hospital.
