One person dead in Kawerau crashROSS GIBLIN/STUFF One person has died and another sustained injuries following a single vehicle crash in Kawerau. Police have closed several roads in and around Kawerau in the Bay of Plenty following a fatal crash. Kawerau Road West is closed while State Highway 34 is closed at the Rotorua end. Emergency services were called to the scene where a single vehicle had rolled around 10:30am. One person has died at the scene while another has sustained minor injuries.
