One of the UK's best cheese shops - according to The Times - has opened a stall at Altrincham Market. Chorlton Cheesemongers has launched its second stall on Central Way, four years after its original shop opened in Chorlton during lockdown. Run by managing director Chris Hallam and cheesemaker Graham Kirkham - son of the famous Mrs Kirkham best known for her own Lancashire Cheese business - the business was recently included on The Times and Sunday Times list of the UK's 7 Best Cheese Shops. "There are a few global favourites - Comte, feta - but, like most shops on this list, British and Irish cheese are the primary focus. "We’re very much enjoying getting to know all the other local businesses and fantastic customers."
