Former New Zealand batter and the most experienced cricketer in the Kiwi colours, Ross Taylor has revealed that he was slapped by one of the owners of Rajasthan Royals after an Indian Premier League game. Taylor wrote in his autobiography, Ross Taylor: Black & White, that the incident occurred after the match ended. The chase was 195, I was lbw for a duck and we didn't get close," Taylor was quoted from his autobiography by stuff.co.nz. "One of the Royals owners said to me, 'Ross, we didn't pay you a million dollars to get a duck' and slapped me across the face three or four times," Taylor revealed. Taylor played for Rajasthan Royals for just one season in 2011 and then moved to Delhi Daredevils and then later to Pune Warriors.
