A new case added to the Nelson Covid outbreak is linked to the larger of two clusters in the region, health leaders say. Nelson Marlborough Health medical officer of health Dr Stephen Bridgman said the case added on Wednesday brought the larger cluster to 18, with three in the other cluster. Of the total 21 cases, one has recovered and there is one case in Nelson Hospital. On Tuesday, a second positive case involving a staff member from Enner Glynn School was added to the outbreak figures. The school shut last Thursday and Friday after the first positive case but reopened on Monday and would remain open this week.
