more-inThe police on Tuesday arrested one more person in connection with the death of Tony Mathew inside the Thattekkad reserve forests last week. The arrested has been identified as Basil who had sustained serious injuries in a wild elephant attack last week after entering the forest with a group including the deceased. The police had earlier arrested Shyte Joseph and Ajesh, other members of the group, in this connection. Based on the finding, a case has been registered against the trio for culpable homicide and illegal possession of the firearm. The group, which had entered the forest for hunting, was attacked by a tusker near Kavala Point.
