DHAKA, Oct 14, 2023 (BSS)- An unidentified auto-rickshaw puller was killed and two passengers were injured as the auto rickshaw overturned and a speeding truck ran over it in city's Jatrabari Matuail areain the early hours of today. Jatrabari Thana Officer-in-charge Mofizul Alam confirmed the matter to BSS saying that, on information, a team of Jatrabari Thana Police rescued them and took them to Dhaka Medical College hospital (DMCH). "The driver was killed on spot, while the passengers suffered severe injuries. Police is currently looking for the truck and its driver," he added. Jatrabari Thana SI M. Jahiduzzaman said that, "The body of the victim has been kept on the DMCH morgue.
