Pak Thong Chai district police were called to the scene on Highway 24 in Tambon Takhu at 4.54am. Rescuers using metal cutters freed the passengers trapped inside and removed the body of driver Sansern Sirikamnerd, 37. At press time, police had been unable to interview the survivors about what happened.
