A woman was killed and a man was injured in a double shooting at a Laurel, Md., motel early Saturday morning, authorities said. Howard County police are investigating the shooting, which occurred at the Turf Motel in Laurel, according to a news release. Police were called to the motel around 4:30 a.m., where they found the two people with gunshot wounds. Police think the victims may have known the person who shot them, but authorities have not identified a suspect, according to the news release. The man, who was shot in the leg, suffered non-life-threatening injuries, according to the news release.
