Stock imageThe average salary package of chartered accountants in Leinster has slipped to €109,989 with some evidence of pay cuts as a result of the Covid pandemic. The average salary package includes base salary, pension scheme and benefits such as health insurance and is down this year from €112,582 in 2019, according to a survey of more than 1,000 Chartered Accountants, published today by Chartered Accountants Leinster Society. The Leinster region includes Dublin and is home to a huge share of the country’s total number of chartered accountants. Half of those who have had a pay cut say it was more than 10pc. And the data shows 82pc of chartered accountants have received a salary increase within the last three years.
