The virus has infected 198,522 people from 166 different countriesRapid Action Battalion (RAB) has arrested a man from the MA Aziz Stadium area under Kotwali police station in Chittagong for spreading rumours over coronavirus. The arrestee was identified as Quamrul Hasan Rumi, 39. Acting on a tip off, a team of RAB 7 conducted a drive in the Kazir Dewri area and arrested Rumi around 11:30pm for spreading rumours regarding coronavirus by uploading a video on his Facebook page, said Media Officer of RAB 7, Mahmudul Hasan Mamun. In the video, Rumi falsely stated that four students of a school in Chittagong city were affected by the deadly coronavirus. The coronavirus outbreak has so far claimed the lives of 7,988 people.
