One dead, seven injured in road accident along Nakuru-Eldoret highwayOne person has died while seven others are recuperating at the Nakuru Provincial General Hospital after they were involved in an accident at Ngata area along Nakuru-Eldoret Highway.The accident that occurred near the Sachangwan black spot involved a lorry and a bus which was headed to Nairobi from Butere in Kakamega County. The bus was coming from Butere heading to Nairobi when it collided with the tanker from the opposite direction,” Nakuru OCPD Samuel Obara said. According to the passengers, the bus was trying to overtake when it collided with the tanker. The driver of the bus was rushed to hospital after suffering serious leg injuries. The OCPD, however, urged drivers to be careful on the roads during the heavy Christmas season traffic.
