One person died while 15 others were injured in a road accident on Bungoma – Kimilili road on Thursday evening. Those injured were admitted to Bungoma hospital as residents complained the roads in the area are impassable and therefore a danger to motorists. The group was in a funeral procession after picking up the body of a deceased relative when the accident occurred at Mwiyai area in Bungoma County. Chwele MCA Baraza Mukhongo asked the county government to provide a solution to the problem to avert more deaths.
