Police sources told The Hindu that this was the fifth incident of bomb blast outside the court premises in last three years. On March 11, a similar blast had taken near the Sasaram court in which five people were injured. A bomb placed in the basket of a motorcycle exploded outside a local court in Sasaram on Wednesday, killing the owner of the bike and injuring two others, including a policeman. A police official said the bike belonged to Sachin Mahto alias Guddu, and the bomb exploded as soon as he started the bike. Immediately after the blast, Mr. Mahto was taken to the local Sadar hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
