A busy stretch of Highway 69, south of Sudbury, Ont., was closed to traffic Friday afternoon after a fatal collision. Provincial police closed the road at the French River bridge just after 3 p.m.Officers with the Technical Collision Investigators (TCI) were on scene investigating, OPP said in a news release. Police confirmed one person was killed in the crash, however no details were given about the victim. There was a lengthy detour around the road closure. Police did not say when the road would reopen to traffic.
