One person was killed and four others injured early Thursday in a collision at the intersection of Baseline Road and Brower Drive in Sherwood Park. In a news release, RCMP said it appears an SUV was travelling west on Baseline Road when a passenger car travelling north on Glenbrook Blvd, which becomes Brower Drive, went through the intersection against a flashing red light. The passenger car was struck by the SUV. One of three passengers in the car died at the scene. An RCMP collision analyst is on scene and the investigation is continuing.
