Seven people have been injured after two cars collided near Pukaki. A 70-year-old man has died following a crash at Lake Pukaki, in the Mackenzie District, on Sunday. Eight people were involved in the crash, six people were seriously injured and taken to Timaru, Dunedin and Christchurch hospitals, a police spokesperson said. Sunday's crash follows another on nearby Braemar Rd, Tekapo, on March 8, which killed three people and injured five others.
