( Victor Biro / For The Toronto Star )A three-alarm fire at a downtown Toronto Community Housing building on Thursday has claimed the life of one person and displaced countless others. Firefighters relied on aerial ladders to evacuate two residents from the fifth floor. Fire crews on the scene of the fire at a Toronto Community Housing building located near George St. at Dundas St. East. Toronto police confirmed just after 9 p.m. that the entire building will be evacuated, with residents being taken to temporary lodging until the building is inspected. The Office of the Fire Marshall was been notified, and the Fire Prevention Division of the Toronto Fire Services will conduct an investigation.
