One person died following the crash. One person is dead following a crash at Wairakei Terraces, near Taupo. A car and a motorcycle crashed on Friday afternoon, about 2.15pm, at the intersection of Wairakei Dr and Wairakei Rd. The Serious Crash Unit attended the scene. Police will investigate the cause of the crash.
