According to him, if Christians, and by extension all Ghanaians, have more than one day to celebrate Christmas, the same should be replicated during the celebration of Eid ul-Adha. Speaking in an interview with Chief Jerry Forson, host of Ghana Yensom on Accra100.5FM on Monday September 12 in connection with the Eid ul-Adha celebration, Mr Ibrahim indicated that any political party that would make it part of its manifesto to devote more than one day to the observation of the Eid ul-Adha would win more votes from the Muslim community. He said: “There are Muslims everywhere – go to Nima, to East Legon, go to Madina, Adentan. “The one day is not enough.”Muslims the world over are marking the Eid ul-Adha today, Monday September 12.
