CABINET members in the Ondo State Government on Tuesday refuted their alleged defection, describing the report as the handiwork of political enemies. The cabinet members, who unanimously declared their support for the APC, made their stand known during the weekly State Executive Council (SEC) meeting in Akure. “Everything is peaceful in APC of Ondo State, we are very much intact. Rotimi Akeredolu will leave Ondo State better than he met it after spending eight years,” he said. The deputy governor also noted that the governor followed constitutional procedure in informing the state House of Assembly before embarking on his annual leave.
