The main Game of Thrones sets are housed in Belfast’s Titanic Quarter and, as that suggests, they are vast. Blacksmith Gendry (Joe Dempsie) with his war hammer on Game of Thrones. Real blacksmiths forge the metal for the thousands of weapons used in the series. The hot ticket, of course, is the Throne Room, where the iconic iron throne itself, made of intertwining swords, sits on a dais. In a final telling detail, the throne itself is distinctly uncomfortable, with a sword prong at the front that jabs into your backside.
