On debt and austerity, let’s learn from global protests : The Standard

The protests in Hong Kong, Ecuador, Bolivia, Iraq and many other places should worry those who love peace. The people of Hong Kong have been demonstrating for months. It appears the protests are about the fear of China ruling Hong Kong and the nature and complexities of the relationship between China and Hong Kong.
