Banks in Bihar will remain shut for four days starting tomorrow on account of Chhath Puja. The "vratis" or devotees pay their obeisance to both the setting and the rising sun, take dips in River Ganga and seek blessings from the divinity. As lakhs of devotees throng various ghats along River Ganga to perform the rituals, ensuring safety of the ghats is the foremost priority of the government.
