AGRA: BJP MP from Aligarh Satish Gautam would gift insurance covers, under the Prime Minister Suraksha Bima Yojana PMSBY ), to 11,000 girls and women of his constituency on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan . He would also construct 100 toilets in houses of women who can't afford to build them on their own.Talking to TOI, Gautam said that there could be no better gift than an insurance cover on Raksha Bandhan as it would provide these girls future security. He said, he would also construct 100 "toilets" for his "sisters". He said it is unfortunate that women usually do not take any insurances for themselves. Premium of PMSBY is Rs 12 annually and to avail the scheme, one should be in the age group of 16-70 and should have a savings bank account.
