Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday sent out a legal notice to the Bharatiya Janata Party and its candidate from East Delhi Gautam Gambhir over two defamatory tweets. In the defamation notice, Arvind Kejriwal listed two tweets that Gautam Gambhir had posted on Twitter on May 9. In his tweets, Gautam Gambhir was reacting to the circulation of a derogatory pamphlet allegedly circulated against his rival and AAP candidate from East Delhi Atishi. The defamation notice lists Gambhir’s tweets as being in violation of the Model Code of Conduct. “Earlier, she played caste card and now she is playing woman card,” Delhi BJP vice president Shazia Ilmi said in a press conference.
